McCain's Sun Tzu Strategery

Mon Jul 21, 2008 at 11:16:38 AM PDT

Women for John McCain are proud to salute our next President of the United States of America, John Sidney McCain III, as his trailblazing leadership on foreign policy and military issues continues to garner attention and amazed double takes from the press, so-called 'experts', and voters.

Under John McCain's maverick leadership, America will keep the terrorists on their toes. When the terrorists, insurgents, world leaders, journalists, the American public, and even John McCain himself can't figure out what he's talking about, we'll always be one step ahead of the enemy - they'll never be able to figure out what the mission is, or just where we'll strike next.

That's real security, and that's the leadership and creative foreign policy expertise John McCain will bring to the White House when voters go to the polls in January, 2009.

This Week on the Straight Talk Express

Fri Jul 11, 2008 at 01:14:32 PM PDT

TGIF! John McCain has been hard at work on the campaign trail, and will be heading home to Arizona this evening for a much deserved break after delivering so much Straight Talk this week. Here's the Women for John McCain campaign trail roundup for the week of July 11th, 2008...

Ten Reasons Why

Thu Jul 10, 2008 at 12:01:04 AM PDT

Barack Obama voted "yes" on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 Amendments Act of 2008, H.R. 6304.

He talked about "faith-based initiatives", District of Columbia v. Heller, the Constitutionality of applying the death sentence to child rape cases, "refining" the timetable for Iraq withdrawal based on possible future developments, and late-term abortion.

For weeks now, the Recent Diaries list (and sometimes the front page) has been peppered with "I give up", "I can no longer support Barack Obama", "I'll vote but I won't donate", "I'll donate but I won't volunteer", and several variations on "convince me", the most recent being "Tell me again why Barack Obama is 'great'."

Here are the first ten reasons that came to mind while watering a West Seattle garden after dinner on a balmy Wednesday in July, 2008.

More shockingly controversial comments on McCain's military service!

Tue Jul 01, 2008 at 05:02:02 PM PDT

Controversial comments from prominent political figures and pundits regarding John McCain's military service and his qualifications as a presidential candidate continued, as McCain boarded his new "Straight Talk Express" private jet to campaign in the battleground states of Colombia and Mexico late Tuesday.

McCain AdSense: Spreading Lies About Iran

Fri Jun 20, 2008 at 01:33:51 AM PDT

If the latest Google AdSense ad from the McCain campaign is any indication, we can expect a campaign that sinks to new depths this year.

Aside from the smack of desperation in "with age comes Wisdom" and obvious (but hilarious) swipe at Obama with "Choose Wisdom over Optimism", the McCain campaign seems more than happy to spread out-and-out lies to stir up irrational fears:

"Iran will have nukes in a year".

Yup - even though all intel to the contrary says that Iran doesn't have the know-how now, and think-tank lackeys guess that Iran may be as much as a decade away from developing such capabilities, having halted their nuclear program in 2003, the McCain campaign is counting on irrational fear of "terrah", courting the "sucker born every minute" vote.

Straight Talk Express: Lost in New York

Tue Jun 10, 2008 at 01:41:52 PM PDT

Well, that didn't take long.

John McCain's "Straight Talk Express" is desperately in need of roadside assistance.

This time, the McCain campaign has set what may be a new record in going back on its word. A mere three days after promising to the American public that McCain fundraising events would now be open to press pool reporters, John McCain has scheduled a series of New York fundraising events for Tuesday - one a reception for a whopping $28,500 per person - that will be closed to the press.

The Popular Vote Myth

Wed Apr 23, 2008 at 12:23:08 PM PDT

The "popular vote" argument peddled by the Clinton campaign is specious at best, and deliberately misleading at worst - and unfortunately, the mainstream media are increasingly 'buying' this false pretense spun by the Clinton campaign, and 'selling' it to the public in turn.

The truth is that there is no measure of the 'popular vote' during this Democratic primary season that is based on actual fact.

Dear Chris,

No candidate can guarantee victory. But throughout this campaign, I have made one promise to you, and I intend to keep it.

Your promise to accept PAC and lobbyist contributions? You've kept that one, Hills.
